HOW LONG – 10 YEARS WITH BOOGIE WOOGIE & BLUES 

Since my earliest childhood, I have been deeply immersed in the world of American swing music of the early 1930s and 1940s, shaped by the wonderful piano sounds of my grandfather. He adored Erroll Garner, a true master of the piano, and this influence resonates in every note my grandpa played. My greatest goal has always been to play like him – a connection of talent and passion that spans generations.
In 2014, my musical horizon was significantly broadened when I met the Tyrolean Boogie Woogie pianist Robert Roth. Through him, I learned to know and love the basics of Boogie & Blues piano. Since then, I have played these music styles with a dedication that comes deeply from my heart.
My first international performance took me to the Boogie Woogie Festival de Laroquebrou in France. This engagement opened doors to further festivals across Europe and even in the USA. A special highlight of my career was participating in the Hamburg Boogie Woogie Connection in 2023, an event initiated by the legends Vince Weber and Axel Zwingenberger.
This album, “HOW LONG – 10 Years with Boogie Woogie & Blues”, is a musical journey through a decade of passionate dedication to the energetic and diverse world of Boogie Woogie and Blues.
A heartfelt thanks goes to Peter Müller from Styx Records, who not only took over the production but also contributed musically to this work. A big thank you also goes to the outstanding musicians Karol Hodas and Dani Gugolz, my band members (Tom Mitterlechner, Peter Salinger, Gösta Müller) from Boogie Kathi & the Muddy Bluesmen, as well as Bernhard Fauster (Haller Dixielanders) for their excellent contribution to my latest production and for their musical friendship and support.

A special thanks also goes to Robert Roth, Jean-Paul Amouroux (†), Erik Trauner, and Axel Zwingenberger, whose trust and support have been and continue to be invaluable to me.

THANK YOU also to my family, who support me in all my musical endeavors and always stand by my side.
