Surrounded by the records and CDs of Axel Zwingenberger and Vince Weber, which my parents loved so much, I never imagined that one day I would be personally invited by the King of Boogie Woogie – Axel Zwingenberger – to the Fabrik in Hamburg.

My arrival in Hamburg was marked by a mix of excitement and joy. The 35th anniversary of this legendary festival, initiated by icons Vince Weber and Axel Zwingenberger, was a milestone for me as a Boogie Woogie and Blues musician. Being backstage, surrounded by greats like Joja Wendt, Lasse Jensen, Julien Brunetaud, Axel, and many others, was not only inspiring but also an honour.

I particularly remember my solo performance. Each artist had the opportunity to play three pieces. On stage, I felt incredibly comfortable; the audience was simply fantastic.
